Creo que se trata de un gel de fibrina. Donde se combinan dos productos; por un lado, fibrinógeno; y por el otro, trombina. De forma que al mezclarse se genera fibrina. La idea de la misma es permanecer en el sitio un tiempo máxima de 10-12 días. Lo cual facilitará la no dispersión de las partículas. El sustituto ideal del mismo serían derivados plaquetarios, bien PRGF o PRF.
