Dr. Dong-Seok Sohn received his DDD from 1989, DDS : School of Dentistry, Kyungbook National University in 1989. He complted training of oral and maxillofacial Surgery at Catholic University Hospital of Daegu.

Introduced various piezoelectric bone surgery devices in Asia and Pacific area since 2002 and inventor of Hydrodynamic piezoelectric internal sinus elevation (HPISE, 2008).
Invited for lectures on implantolgy and piezoelectric bone surgery nationally and internationally for many years.
Published many articles on implantolgy and piezoelectric bone surgery in national and international journals.
Author of 3 books including Clinical applications of piezoelectric bone surgery (Gun-Ja Publishing, 2008).
Recipient of Charles English Award by Implant Dentistry which flagship journal of ICOI.
Editorial advisory board of the Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry & International Journal of Oral Implantology and Clinical Research and Society Editor of Implant Dentistry.
Congress chair of 9th Congress of ICOI Asia Pacific Section and Co congress chair of 28th ICOI World Congress (Sep. 6-9, 2011).

    I would say the most important facto to have in considerartion are: - Presence of marrow bone. - The base of the area to expand should be as wider as possible. The wider the better. It is related to blood supply. Thanks for your comment

    Permíteme que te responda, sin estar totalmente seguro, ya que el caso no es mío. Creo que se trata de un gel de fibrina. Donde se combinan dos productos; por un lado, fibrinógeno; y por el otro, trombina. De forma que al mezclarse se genera fibrina. La idea de la misma es permanecer en el sitio un tiempo máxima de 10-12 días. Lo cual facilitará la no dispersión de las partículas. El sustituto ideal del mismo serían derivados plaquetarios, bien PRGF o PRF. Recibe un cordial saludo.

    Excellent presentation, thanks for sharing. When you compare these ti-mesh cases with d-PTFE membranes, what do you think about early or late exposures during healing? Any advantage or disadvantages? Thanks...
